According to news reports, Shinde, who has been battling a throat infection and fever since last week, underwent a full health examination as recommended by doctors.

Emerging from the hospital, he reassured the media about his condition, stating, “Badhiya hai [all good].”

This development comes as Maharashtra gears up for the swearing-in ceremony of the new Mahayuti government on Thursday, December 5, at Mumbai’s Azad Maidan. The grand event is set to host Prime Minister Narendra Modi, amid speculation surrounding the next chief minister.

While BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis is widely speculated as the frontrunner, the Mahayuti alliance has yet to make an official announcement.

Shinde, meanwhile, has remained in Thane since returning from a visit to his hometown in Satara district last week.
