Drawing inspiration from the Burmese-style Buddhist temple, also known as Kongmu Kham in the Tai-Khamti language.

The Golden Pagoda opened in 2010, is located in Namsai District on a sprawling 20-hectare complex, approximately 68 km from Tinsukia, Assam. Known for its distinct architectural style and cultural significance, the temple serves as a symbol of peace and tranquillity making it a fitting choice for this year’s pandal theme.

Talking to GPlus, an official from the Latasil Durga Puja Committee said, "The pandal will cost us around ₹15 lakh this year, and our total budget for the Durga Puja celebrations is ₹26 lakh."

With the pandal design expected to capture the intricate details of the Golden Pagoda, the committee hopes to offer a new cultural experience for devotees and visitors alike.
