GUWAHATI: The Government Railway Police (GRP) seized a large consignment of drugs and arrested one person at the Guwahati Railway Station today.

The consignment, containing around 10,000 suspected Yaba tablets, was seized during an operation by the GRP, while one person has been apprehended in connection with the case.

The GRP said on its X handle, “In another operation, GRP Assam seized 10,000 suspected Yaba tablets from Guwahti railway station. One accused person has been apprehended. Necessary legal action has been taken.”
This was the second drug seizure in Guwahati by the GRP today.
