The hack drew widespread attention when the account began promoting a cryptocurrency called '$MBAPPE,' falsely claiming it had achieved 90,000 sales.

The breach didn’t stop with financial promotions. The hacked account also shared a slew of contentious messages, including provocative remarks about Manchester United and a heated comment about the Cristiano Ronaldo-Lionel Messi rivalry. Among the posts, the account claimed "Manchester is Red" and lauded the popular Manchester United fan account, @UTDTrey, as "the best account on ft (football Twitter)."

When questioned about a potential move to London, the hacked account responded with an insulting remark: “London is s*** bro.” Additionally, the account posted a message favoring Cristiano Ronaldo as “the greatest football player of all time,” while disparaging Messi with a derogatory term.

These inflammatory comments have further fueled the already intense discussions surrounding the Ronaldo-Messi rivalry, with Mbappé currently a Real Madrid player. The tweets, now reportedly deleted, have caused a stir within the football community and sparked significant controversy
