GUWAHATI: The Assam government has carried out a reshuffle in the bureaucracy posting Kuntal Moni Sarmah Bordoloi as Joint Secretary to the Industries, Commerce & Public Enterprises Department. Additionally, he will serve as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Minister of Assam. His appointment is effective from February 20.

Bordoloi was appointed to the Indian Administrative service last month.
Besides, Kuntal Moni Sarmah Bordoloi, Pranab Jyoti Sarmah, the Secretary to the Women and Child Development and Social Justice & Empowerment Departments was transferred and posted as Secretary to the Medical Education & Research Department.
Furthermore, Thai Tso Daw Daulagupu was posted as Secretary to the Hill Areas Department.
This was announced in a notification issued by the Secretary to the Govt. of Assam on Tuesday, March 4.
