GUWAHATI: Assam Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma taking the twitter informed that Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH) shall now be a full-fledged Post Graduation (PG) College.
It is to be mentioned that the Board of Governors of the Medical Council of India has approved 40 seats in clinical subjects.

In a breakdown of number to seats allocated, 10 seats for Surgery, 10 seats for Medicine, 8 seats for Anaesthesiology, 4 seats for Radiology, 3 seats for ENT and 5 seats for Obstetrician-Gynecologist (O&G).
PG classes in non-clinical subjects are already on.
