GUWAHATI: Guwahati’s Jalukbari flyover has turned into a makeshift bus stand as buses on that route lineup there to board passengers which has lead to an increase in traffic on the flyover.
Talking to G Plus, DCP Traffic Prasanta Saikia said, “ Adabari is a very crowded area, and it is not possible for buses to stop at the station. Thus, they are stopping at the Jalukbari flyover.”
Saikia further added, “the police authorities will soon start a combing operation for the buses which are not following an organised route in the city.”
