GUWAHATI: Keeping in mind the law and order situation of the state, section 144 which was imposed in Itanagar, has now been extended till Wednesday morning (February 27).
The curfew was imposed on Saturday afternoon after the city saw violence on Friday during the second day of the 48-hour bandh which was called by various organisations over the Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) to non-APST residents of Namsai and Changlang districts.
As per reports, Arunachal Pradesh Governor, B D Mishra also appealed to the residents to maintain peace.
