GUWAHATI: Guwahati will host two matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 on May 15 and 19.
The two matches will be held between Rajasthan Royals vs Punjab Kings on May 15 and Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders on May 19.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) unveiled the complete schedule for the ongoing IPL 2024 on March 25. This announcement follows the initial release of the schedule for the first two weeks (21 matches) on February 22, 2024, with the subsequent schedule taking into account the polling dates and venues for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections across the nation.
“Rajasthan Royals too have opted for a second venue in Guwahati and will play their final two home matches in Assam. They will first host Punjab Kings on May 15th and later play Kolkata Knight Riders on May 19th, which will also mark the conclusion of the league stage of the 17th season of IPL,” read an official press release from the BCCI.

Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium will play host to the Qualifier 1 clash between two top-ranked sides on May 21, followed by the Eliminator on May 22.
Qualifier 2 and the grand final will be held in Chennai, the home ground of reigning champions Chennai Super Kings. Qualifier 2, featuring the loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of the Eliminator, is scheduled for May 24, with the summit clash taking place on May 26.
