GUWAHATI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a schedule change for Match No. 19 of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Originally set to take place on Sunday, April 6, at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, the match has been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 8, at 3:30 PM.
The decision was made following a request from Kolkata Police to the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), citing the need for personnel deployment across the city due to ongoing festivities. The authorities recommended shifting the game to ensure smooth security arrangements, and the request was duly accepted.
With this adjustment, April 6 will now feature only one match—Sunrisers Hyderabad vs. Gujarat Titans at 7:30 PM (Match No. 20). Meanwhile, April 8 will be a double-header, with KKR facing LSG in the afternoon in Kolkata, followed by Punjab Kings taking on Chennai Super Kings (Match No. 22) in New Chandigarh as per the original schedule.
Apart from this change, the rest of the IPL 2025 schedule remains unaffected.
