GUWAHATI: Six United Kingdom (UK) returnees have been found positive with the new COVID-19 strain in the country.
Out of the six, the samples of three UK returnees were tested and found positive for the new UK genome strain in NIMHANS, Bengaluru, as per the Ministry of Health.
The other two are in Centre of Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad and one in National Institute of Virology, Pune.
As reported by ANI, all 6 people have been kept in single room isolation.
