GUWAHATI: Nasma Begum and her husband Mofiz Uddin were arrested on Monday by the police in Assam for their alleged involvement in the leaking of a question paper of Grade-III examination of the state health department, which was held on Sunday.
The duo hails from Moirabari in the Morigaon district of Assam.
As per reports, a portion of a question paper was discovered in the examination centre, following which someone clicked its pictures and shared it on social media, causing it to go viral.
After a preliminary investigation, it was discovered that the mastermind behind the 'leaking' of the question paper was Nasma Begum.
She appeared for the examination from an examination centre in the Lakhimpur district of Assam.
Nasma had taken her exam in Lakhimpur, Assam, where the question paper had been leaked.
The paper was allegedly leaked using her phone.
