GUWAHATI: On December 6, the Government Railway Police (GRP) discovered a human skeleton among a collection of rail spikes kept in a jungle not far from the weekly market in the Maligaon area.
The skeleton might be six to seven months old, per the Railway Police. The gender has not yet been determined, nor has its age.

The GRP In Charge, Kamakhya, spoke to G Plus and said, "On Tuesday morning, December 6, residents discovered the skeleton that had been concealed within the spike stack. A case has been registered"
A postmortem was performed on the skeleton at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital. More information is awaited.
