GUWAHATI: A huge hole has been spotted on the road at the junction between Chai Gali and MS Road in Fancy Bazar, posing a risk for drivers and pedestrians alike.

The hole, which reportedly appeared a few weeks back, has been filled with scrap materials to warn passing drivers, as the authorities turn a blind eye to the dangers associated with it.
A senior official of PWD talking to GPlus said, "Not only in Fancy Bazar but there are holes in many areas because of rain and water logging," adding that the PWD will repair all the roads soon.
Fancy Bazar has been seeing massive crowds as people flock to the market to finish their last-minute Durga Puja shopping.
