As per the Hindu Calendar (Panchang), the Purnima Tithi for Holi will begin at 10:24 AM on March 13 and end at 11:35 PM on March 14.

Speaking to GPlus, a committee member of Doul Govinda Temple said, “Maha Puja will be observed on March 14 from the morning to night.”

“Doul Utsav will commence from March 13 to 17,” the individual added.

Unlike Holika Dahan, Rangwali Holi, the festival of colours, does not have any strict timing. Traditionally, people start playing with colours in the morning after breakfast, with celebrations continuing until lunch or even into the evening.

Participants use coloured powders, water balloons, and flowers to celebrate the festival all across India.
