These locations included ISBT Guwahati, Katabari, and Beharbari, causing panic on Republic Day. However, no explosives have been discovered so far, and authorities assured citizens that there was no cause for alarm.

"There is no cause for concern. No bomb has been found, and nothing has occurred," said a senior police official, speaking to GPlus. The official further confirmed that the city’s law enforcement remains vigilant and that all reports were thoroughly investigated.

Relatably, a mysterious sound was reported in the Beharbari area, raising suspicions, but no evidence of an explosion was found. Meanwhile, another bomb scare emerged at ISBT Guwahati, where a suspicious bag was spotted.

Upon investigation, police  found only a bundle of clothing and some identity cards belonging to labourers.

However, the proscribed Ulfa (I) claimed it had carried out blasts at Lalmati and Rehabari besides several other places. The outfit has called for a boycott of the Republic Day celebration and also a Statewide shutdown from 1 AM till 6 PM, but this has evoked little response.
