GUWAHATI: An SUV allegedly rammed into two motorcyclists near the Ganeshguri Flyover in Guwahati late Friday night, March 21 leaving them injured.

The two young men had reportedly parked their scooter under the flyover to have a meal when a vehicle, approaching from the opposite direction, collided with them. The impact resulted in injuries to both individuals.
Following the accident, the vehicle reportedly fled the scene. The injured youths earlier lodged an FIR at Dispur Police Station, urging authorities to take action against those responsible.
Talking to GPlus, a traffic police official from Dispur police station said, “The accident was itself very minor and the injuries sustained by the duo are not serious. Both have been bandaged and treated by the medics and we also have the number plate of the car involved. We have called both the parties to the police station for an amicable settlement.”
