GUWAHATI: ‘Dhing Express’ Hima Das will be reaching Guwahati tomorrow at around 1 PM from New Delhi. She will be welcomed at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal himself.
On her way to the city from the airport Hima will halt at the Dr Bhupen Hazarika Samadhi Kshetra Memorial where she will pay her respects to the legend. From there, she will head to the track and field area of Sarusujai Stadium.
After Sarusujai, a press conference is slated for 3:15 PM at the office of the Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare at Dispur.
The state-level felicitation programme will be at 5:00 PM at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra where all the dignitaries will be present including Arjuna awardee Bhogeswar Barua to felicitate and congratulate Hima Das.
