GUWAHATI: Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) witnessed a significant development on Thursday with the inauguration of a High-Fidelity Simulation Skill Lab in the Emergency Building.
This new facility, aimed at enhancing medical education and training, was made possible through financial support from the USAID RISE project.
The inaugural ceremony at the GMCH auditorium saw the presence of Assam Health Minister Keshab Mahanta, who served as the chief guest and officially inaugurated the High Fidelity Simulation Skill Lab.
Guests at the ceremony included the Director of Medical Education, the Deputy Director of the Health Office of USAID India, the Country Director of Jhpiego, the General Manager of Godrej, and the Senior Chief General Manager of NRL.
The event was attended by faculty, staff, students, nurses, and other employees of the GMCH.
