Guwahati's Kristi Das, winner of Mrs Universe 2017 (E-Vote Winner) was reportedly attacked by a group of 30-35 miscreants on Monday. A case has been registered at Bhangagarh Police Station in connection with the incident.
"From the complainant's FIR, it appears to be a land grabbing case and the accused has allegedly already grabbed huge chunks of land of the victim's father, who was a former government employee at G.S. Road. However, investigation is currently underway and nothing conclusive can be said now," said an official of Bhangagarh Police Station
