GUWAHATI: The body of a woman was found in Saniram Bora Path, within the Bora Service locality of Guwahati on September 12.
The victim was found hanging in her residence and has been identified as Bhagya Lakshmi Duwarah.
A police official from Paltan Bazar Police Station revealed that Bhagya Lakshmi locked herself inside a room and didn't come out.
He further mentioned that after she didn’t respond, Bhagya Lakhsmi’s husband broke open the door and saw the lifeless body of his wife.
Following the incident, the body was sent immediately to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for postmortem.
