GUWAHATI: A Sub-inspector at the Bhangagarh Police Station passed away following a cardiac arrest at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital on Monday, October 21.

Archana Debi, 28, was undergoing treatment for injuries suffered in a road accident at Sonapur on the fringe of Guwahati on October 9 evening.
According to reports, the police official had crashed her car into a stationary vehicle on the national highway suffering severe injuries and was admitted to hospital.
Doctors at the GMCH said that Debi went into cardiac arrest at 11:45 AM after which resuscitation was tried, but in vain; she passed away at 12:45 PM.
