GUWAHATI: A vehicle lost control and caused multiple collisions near Assam Down Town University, Guwahati, on Monday, October 21.

The accident has resulted in three students getting critically injured and one fatality of a scooty rider.
The vehicle was reportedly transporting water when it first crashed into a goods vehicle, and then struck a scooter, leaving its rider dead on the spot. Apparently having lost control, it went on to hit three more university students, two boys and one girl, leaving them in critical condition.
The students were admitted to Down Town Hospital, while the police promptly arrived at the scene to seize the vehicle.
“The scooty rider was immediately brought to GATE Hospital,” an official from Panikhaiti Police told G Plus. “Unfortunately, he was declared dead upon arrival.”
