GUWAHATI: A middle-aged woman was caught red-handed while stealing cosmetics at a departmental store in Guwahati.
The incident took place at Quick Shoppe in Zoo road on Tuesday, June 4.
The entire episode went viral through a video that has been shared widely on WhatsApp.

In the viral video, the security personnel of the store are seen frisking the woman’s handbag. The security personnel can also be heard stating that the accused has repeated the offence a couple of days ago.
The identity of the accused has not been disclosed by the store's management.
The store management had lodged a complaint against the woman at Dispur police station, but they withdrew their complaint after the accused sought apology from them.
