GUWAHATI: One bike and a car collided on the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) hillside. The incident occurred towards the Kahilipara exit side.

One Apurba Das from Rajgarh collided with a car which had to brake abruptly. The driver of the car justified that he had to pull the break suddenly as there were two cars parked together on the main road of the hill.

The accident-related cases are common in the hill areas of the GMCH. The Guwahati police have claimed rash driving as one of the key reasons for the development.

G Plus spoke to Bhangagarh Police Station (PS) Officer in Charge (OC) Karuna Sharma who stated, "Youngsters are driving in a careless way resulting in these cases. We already caught two on Wednesday, brought them to the police station and called their parents."

The Bhangagarh police have acknowledged that two-way driving is not allowed on the road.
