GUWAHATI: Water supply will remain interrupted today across multiple areas under the Ramsahill reservoir in Guwahati, announced the Guwahati Jal Board.
The Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) has issued an important update for residents regarding ongoing water supply disruptions. Due to heavy rainfall last night, the leakage rectification work could not be completed as scheduled.

The areas impacted by the interruption include all Distribution Management Areas (DMAs) under the Ramsahill reservoir, specifically RH001, RH002, RH003, RH006, RH007, and RH009. Notable localities affected are Ramsahill areas, Kharghuli, Hrimbapur, Latashil/Barowari, Panbazar/Fancy Bazar, and Silpukhuri.
The ongoing rectification work, which was scheduled to address leakage issues, was delayed due to continuous heavy rain last night. The adverse weather conditions have impeded the completion of the necessary repairs.
