GUWAHATI: Here’s news that really tastes good!
Jaded out with almost two years of pandemic-induced lockdowns and compulsory home cooked meals, there’s finally reason for the foodie in every one of us to cheer.
Over 50 new local, national and international food & beverage joints are gearing up to open shop in Guwahati in the coming weeks and months.
Insiders with news of the developments tell G Plus the new entrants include US giants Taco Bell and Burger King, besides Karim’s from Delhi. Also in the works is Guwahati’s very first vegan restaurant offering plant-based meat dishes, a first for the city and the region.
The resurgence of new food & beverage joints marks a welcome sign on the city’s economic front, as eateries still represent a stable investment option for entrepreneurs.
Guwahati’s food scene now looks all set for a revival, in terms of both quality and diversity.
Happy eating!
