GUWAHATI: Guwahati’s temperature is expected to hit as low as 8.6° Celsius on January 23, as per reports by IMD.
The maximum temperature is to go as high as 25° Celsius, as per the forecast released by the Regional Weather Forecasting Centre (RWFC) today on January 22.
The current wave of cold might show some respite on January 25 and 26 as the minimum temperature might increase to 13° Celsius in Guwahati airport and the IIT Guwahati areas and at 14° Celsius in Dispur, but the maximum temperature will also show a decrease at 24° Celsius and 25° Celsius respectively, as stated in the RWFC weekly forecast.
Guwahati has been witnessing a wave of cold since January's first week and it is anticipated to continue as the weather is expected to be partly cloudy with haze throughout the week, with fog and mist in the mornings, according to the forecast.
