GUWAHATI: In an unfortunate incident, a 75-year-old man succumbed to his injuries after a speeding bike rammed into him in Guwahati's Beltola area on October 14.
According to reports, the deceased identified as Mumrej Ali was on his way towards home after offering namaz when a speeding bike rammed into him.
Although the victim was admitted to the Agile hospital in Jayanagar Chariali but he was declared ‘brought dead’.
In the meanwhile, police was able to nab one from the spot and later apprehended the other biker.
Ali is survived by four daughters, a son and his wife.
