Guwahati School Gets Disaffiliated From CBSE For Alleged Malpractices

 

GUWAHATI: The Sai RNS Academy from Dispur has been reportedly disaffiliated by the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) for allegedly committing several malpractices, which includes presenting dummy students, ineligible candidates and non-maintenance of proper records.

Furthermore, Sreeram Academy in Barpeta, Assam has been downgraded by the CBSE, along with two other schools from Delhi and Punjab, as per reports.

The CBSE had earlier conducted surprise inspections in its affiliated schools across the country, in which around 23 schools were found violating the provisions and norms contained in CBSE Affiliation and Examination byelaws. 

Subsequently, a total of 20 schools have been disaffiliated from CBSE by the board, while the status of three schools have been downgraded, according to reports.
