GUWAHATI: Assam has registered 568 new COVID-19 cases including 355 from Guwahati taking the state’s overall positive cases to 14,600.
Meanwhile, with the death of 5 COVID-19 positive patients on Thursday, the overall death toll in Assam has increased to 27.

In Guwahati, the rapid antigen test to detect coronavirus (COVID-19) will be held at Pandu and Maligaon from today.
The health department officials will collect the SWAB samples of residents in both the areas. The test is not restricted ward-wise.
