GUWAHATI: A consignment of illicit liquor was held by the police in Guwahati on Thursday, January 23. A team from Panbazaar PS intercepted a vehicle wherein 360 litres of illicit liquor were seized at Guwahati's MG Road near Judges Field.

Earlier, a team from Basistha Police Station, Guwahati conducted an operation at Balurghat resulting seizure of a significant quantity of Indian-Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) on December 2024.
