GUWAHATI: Guwahati Police conducted a series of successful operations across the city on Thursday, February 13, leading to multiple arrests, along with the recovery of stolen vehicles and missing individuals.

In coordination with Meghalaya Police, Geetanagar Police Station recovered a stolen motorcycle from Muktapur under Juwai Police Station in Meghalaya. Meanwhile, Bhangagarh Police tracked down a stolen scooty in Chandmari, which further led to the recovery of another two wheeler.
Paltan Bazar Police successfully located two missing minor girls—one from Borpathar and another from Digholi Pukhuri. The accused, Prem Singh (18), a resident of Dimapur, Nagaland, was arrested in connection with one of the cases.
Basistha Police, meanwhile, apprehended a bike thief, Jishu Boro alias Haru (27), from Lalungaon, while Dispur Police arrested another bike lifter, Rabiul Sarkar (30), near Rajdhani Masjid with a suspected stolen motorcycle.
Additionally, Paltan Bazar Police also nabbed a wanted bike lifter, Sahidul Ali (34), from Basistha Chariali, who was allegedly involved in multiple thefts across the city.
