GUWAHATI: Guwahati police arrested Rahul, a 30-year-old resident of Mewat, Haryana, in connection with a series of ATM thefts across Assam, including the Goalpara ATM heist.

A team from Basistha Police Station traced Rahul to Nuh Mewat and took him into custody. He was brought to Basistha PS for legal procedures. Authorities have identified him as the key accused in several cases involving ATM loot.
Guwahati police confirmed the arrest via a post on X on Thursday, May 1, noting that further investigation is underway.
