GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Planetarium has become India's first planetarium to go green with a 43 kw grid-connected solar power plant.

The plant was inaugurated by Science and Technology Minister Keshab Mahanta on August 19, Wednesday.

A project of the State Science and Technology Department, the solar power plant has been installed by the New and Renewal Energy Wing of APDCL and developed by PAE Renewable (P) Ltd under the Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS).
