Guwahati: Patanjali Wellness Centre Launches Holistic Healthcare Services

GUWAHATI: Patanjali Wellness Centre (PWC) inaugurated its first integrated holistic healthcare services centre in Guwahati on Wednesday, October 2. Located in Guwahati, it was inaugurated by Riniki Bhuyan Sarma, Chief Managing Director (CMD) of Pride East Entertainment Pvt Ltd, alongside Yog guru Swami Ramdev.

The centre operates under the guidance of Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna and will offer a wide range of health services, combining traditional Indian healing practices with modern wellness techniques. Provided services include Yoga, Ayurveda, Panchkarma, Shatkarma, Leech Therapy, acupressure, acupuncture, and naturopathy.

Speaking at the inauguration, Swami Ramdev highlighted the centre’s offerings and introduced key figures who will oversee its functioning, including Pujya Sadhvi Dev Swroop, Pujya Swami Jagatdev, and Pujya Swami Samagradev. “The establishment of this wellness centre not only promotes health but also aims to provide significant job opportunities for local doctors, therapists, and support staff,” he reportedly said.

Additionally, projects involving organic farming, cow rearing, and medicinal plant cultivation are underway in Chirang and Kumarikata, where an international-level school for 1,500 students is under construction.

The Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust, which oversees the wellness centre, is involved in several initiatives across Assam and the Northeast, such as educational projects, organic farming, and environmental conservation. The trust’s efforts aim to integrate ancient knowledge with modern practices across the region.
