GUWAHATI: In view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive patient in the State of Tripura who left Rukminigaon area in Guwahati city on 13th May 2020, the following boundary description is declared as a 'CONTAINMENT ZONE'.
BOUNDARY OF THE CONTAINMENT ZONE:
1. Rukminigaon
North: Showroom of Bimal Nexa
South: Tri-junction, Bye lane No.2/ S.K. Baruah Road
East: Manasha Mandir Road
West: Residence of Sitangshu Sekhar Dey
As the Tripura bound patient had also visited Katahbari area in Guwahati the following area as mentioned below has been cordorned off.
2. Katahbari
North: Natun Basti Gandhi Path
South: Approach road to the residence of A. Awal
East: Mara Bharalu and Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Path
West: Approach road to the residence of Abul Kalam Azad And Pragjyotish English High School.
Meanwhile with the detection of a new COVID-19 positive patient at Fatasil Tiniali area in Guwahatl city, the below mentioned area is also sealed.

Further the order is made under the regulation, "The Assam COVID-19 Regulations, 2020" and shall be effective from May 10th 2020 until further notice.
Any violation of this will attract action under the provision of "The Assam COVID-19 Regulations, 2020", the Epidemic Diseases Act and other relevant laws of the land.
