GUWAHATI: Following the triple blasts case that jolted Guwahati on October 30, 2008, parking facility under the Ganeshguri Flyover was forbidden.
Reportedly Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has now decided to start the parking facility after a period of 10 years.
The Assam Government has decided to use the space below the flyovers dedicatedly for parking and all the necessary arrangements have already been taken care of.
It is to be mentioned that the 2008 serial bomb blast, which had occurred in markets of the city, lead to complete suspension of the parking area fearing any such future incidents.
