GUWAHATI: The Special Operations Group (SOG) and a team from Gorchuk Police Station under West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) apprehended an individual on the charges of possession of a substance alleged to be Heroin in Lokhra on Thursday.
According to official information, the individual has been identified as Mrinmoy Kumar Mishra, a 33-year-old resident of Belsor. The arrest came after a reported seizure of 56 vials containing suspected heroin, weighing a total of 4.90 grams, from Mishra's possession near Pandit Hotel in Lokhra.
Mrinmoy Kumar Mishra is now facing legal action in connection with the possession and potential distribution of illicit narcotics.
