GUWAHATI: A road accident occurred on the Guwahati-North Guwahati Elevated Corridor in Machkhowa on February 8, Saturday.

The incident occurred in the wee hours of Saturday at 4 AM wherein a truck hit behind a water tanker causing major damage to both the vehicles. The driver and passengers of the truck sustained minor injuries.
Talking to GPlus, a traffic police official from Bharalumukh police station said, “The accident occurred very early in the morning. No major injuries were sustained on both sides, as all the victims are safe.”
