GUWAHATI: A massive fire broke out in a commercial building in the Ganeshguri area of Guwahati on Thursday.
As per sources, the fire broke out in a commercial building opposite the petrol pump adjacent to the Guwahati Tea Auction Centre.
The reason behind the fire has not been ascertained yet.
Talking to GPlus, an official of the Fire Department said, "The fire broke out at around 4:35 PM. We have received mixed information, saying it is either a shop or a restaurant. We are not sure yet."
"The fire is now in control," further reported the official.
