GUWAHATI: In a video that went viral on social media, it was seen that a young lady had accused a middle-aged man of touching her inappropriately while travelling on a bus in Guwahati.
Posted on a Facebook page, Amar Sadia, the video has attracted thousands of viewers online.
The incident took place on June 10 inside a crowded city bus in Guwahati, when the victim was on her way to the Downtown hospital to check on her grandmother who had met with an accident.

According to the victim, the accused, identified as one Habibur Rahman ‘misbehaved’ with her and tried to touch her ‘private parts’.

In the video, the man was seen attempting to evade the girl and gave the excuse that he had been sleeping as he was tired of working non-stop for 12 hours.
It is to be mentioned that the girl stated that she did not receive any assistance from the other passengers in the bus, and asked the viewers to suggest what measures should be taken against men like that.
