Guwahati: Liquor shops to close early in selected areas for Chhath Puja

GUWAHATI: Keeping in mind the 'Chhath Puja' celebration the Kamrup District Administration has issued an order where liquor shops will remain closed on Tuesday in selected areas of the city from 4 PM.

As per the order, all retail IMFL 'ON/OFF'/Club licences  and all the Country Spirit shops on A.T. Road from Adabari covering Maligaon-Pandu area to Vishal Mega Mart Point and on M.G. Road from Bharalumukh to Guwahati Club (covering Panbazar, Fancy Bazar, Kumarpara area) of Kamrup Metropolitan district will remain closed from 4 P.M. on 13th November.
