GUWAHATI: In a notification published by the Assam Secretariat Administration on 16th March, it has been informed that in order to prevent any accidental spread of coronavirus, the number of daily visitors to Janata Bhawan has been limited to 100 people till 31st March.
The circular read, "As a preventive measure to arrest the spread of COVID-19, as reported in the country, it is decided that mass gathering and movement of daily visitors coming from various places be restricted to a minimum level in the Janata Bhawan complex till the spread of disease is contained."
it further mentioned that all passes including vehicle entry passes issued by the different department have been stopped till 31st March with immediate effect. And only in urgent cases, the Secretariat Administration Department will issue passes on receipt of request from other Departments in advance (preferably one day ahead).
