GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board has announced that flushing activities scheduled for Monday, April 29, in several areas under the Amiya Nagar Reservoir will not proceed as planned due to leakages detected in the distribution network.

The affected Distribution Management Areas (DMAs) are 5A8, 5A11, and 5A13, which cover key areas including GS Road, BK Kakoti Road, Rehabari, AK Azad Road, Birubari, Rupnagar, and RK Mission Road.

The Guwahati Jal Board has already commenced rectification work to fix the detected leakages, aiming to restore normal operations. However, the delay in flushing activities may impact water distribution and pressure in the affected areas.
