GUWAHATI: Heroin was seized by Special Task Force of Assam police in Khanapara on Thursday, May 30.

Based on a tip-off, a raid was conducted at the ASTC New Building campus under Basistha police station by STF authorities, Assam.
63 vials containing 83.5 gram of suspected heroin and cash amounting to ₹1430 was seized. Additionally, two mobile phones have also been recovered.
The persons involved in the peddling of illicit narcotics were also apprehended and have been identified as Musstt. Hasina Begum(28), and Bhaskar Borah (23).
Further legal proceedings are underway.
