GUWAHATI: In a recent operation, the Special Task Force (STF) Assam conducted a raid within the jurisdiction of Basistha Police Station in Khanapara. The STF team successfully apprehended a suspect who was involved in drug peddling and theft activities.

During the raid, the STF team seized a significant quantity of heroin, totaling 23.5 grams, along with empty vials and other related articles. The arrested individual is believed to be actively involved in both drug peddling and theft, posing a threat to the safety and well-being of the community in the area.

Taking to X, STF Assam stated, “STF carried out a raid at Khanapara, Basistha PS Jurisdiction. The team led by Inspector Kapil Pathak apprehended 1 drug peddler cum thieve with heroin (23.5g), empty vials & other articles.”
