GUWAHATI: A minor girl died after falling off from a seven-storey building at Adabari on Monday.
According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred on October 30 at an apartment complex in the Adabari area of the city.
According to locals, the girl who fell off was not a resident of the building itself as most of the apartment members were unable to recognise her.
It has also currently not been confirmed whether it was an accident or she committed suicide.
Following the incident, the locals had alerted the Jalukbari Police Station, and the cops are looking into the matter.
Talking to GPlus an official from Jalukbari Police Station said, "We received the case just today and have not confirmed if it was an accident or there is ulterior motive behind it for it to be suspected as murder. The body has been sent for post-mortem as of now."
