GUWAHATI: A major fire broke out at a residence in Beltola area of Guwahati on Thursday, January 23.
Locals alleged that some people were trapped inside the building. However, the actual reason of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Locals heard cylinders bursting inside the building which led the fire to spread around.

Meanwhile, fire tenders reached the spot and were able to douse off the fire.
