GUWAHATI: In an incident in Guwahati’s Garchuk, a moving car caught fire on July 22. The driver and another passenger in the car managed to get out in time and escaped getting injured.
According to reports, the car owner, Ajoy Kr. Das and Lalita Bharali, were on their way from Guwahati Club and were going towards DTO office in Garchuk, when all of a sudden, the car caught fire.
The fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and were able to bring the blaze under control.
The reason behind the fire’s breakout is said to be a short circuit inside the vehicle.
